Having experienced God’s healing power in their own marriage is one reason the message of Rocky & Terri is as powerful as it is. In the years since launching Clarion Call, they have had the opportunity to teach and minister to thousands of people from across the United States and Canada. In fact, Rocky & Terri believe as they share their own story in seminars and conferences, they are walking in God’s destiny for their own lives.

Ministry is nothing new to Rocky & Terri. Their varied experience includes many years of ministry in music and recording with The Singing Morris Family as well as several years as an assistant pastor in Jacksonville, Florida, including children’s and couples ministry. However, most of their expertise is from their nearly twenty-seven years of marriage and raising their six children, three girls and three boys. And all that diverse experience has prepared and served them well for this mission of teaching and training others.
Many of those attending their seminars are immediately struck by the transparency with which the Morris’s teach. “We’ve discovered that people have an easier time accepting our message if they know we’re speaking from our own experience”, says Rocky. One of the issues they address during their meetings is that of the horrific effects that pornography has on a relationship. And, again, they speak from their own experience, having faced this same battle that nearly destroyed their marriage. For many years, this devastating addiction continued to drive a wedge between them. Most importantly, though, it separated Rocky from his relationship with God. Thankfully, healing has come through a closer relationship with Jesus Christ, and continued support comes through a personal Sabbath and accountability with others. Rocky’s book, Conquering Your Hidden Kingdoms–The Journey to the Relationship God Wants, chronicles this healing and guides others toward their own personal relationship with God.
Terri often says, “The healthiest marriages are those with two strong individuals.” She adds, “A marriage relationship can never become what it is supposed to be until our individual relationship with God is right.” Rocky & Terri have observed that any training without God’s power becomes mere formula. Consequently, this serves as the cornerstone for each of their meetings. With a blend of humor, personal stories and testimonies, most of those attending their seminars are often moved to laughter and sometimes even tears. To be sure, most people leave changed and equipped for a stronger marriage and family!
